Salem Witch trials
In my journey of the Salem Witch Trial I learned that sometimes it is better to lie and say you are witch then tell the truth and have to go to trial. In my trial the first verdict was not guilty then some of the people claim to be specters of your witch craft, and they decided to hang me with all the people that thought I was innocence. It felt horrible to tell the truth about not being a witch, but the lies of the other people gets me hung along with friends and family that believe in my innocence. I also learned that 25 people were killed during the Salem Witch Trial. 19 witches were hung along with 5 infants that died in prison. There was one defendant that did not take the plea deal, and was tortured to death. When the witch trials get out of hand Reverend Increase Mather, president of Harvard College said that "that ten suspected witches should escape than one innocent person should be condemned." It is also when Gov. William Phips grew disgusted about the accusation toward his wife.
