My opinion of this book is that it was really interesting and it made many connections to me and stuff in my life.
One of the best connections I made when I was reading this book was the way Glass was made fun of at first. Everyone was always trying to get him to fit in telling him that he needed to change the style of his clothes and the people who he hangs out with and pretty much everything about him needed to change. This same thing seemed to happen to me when I changed schools the first time, switching from the little school of McRae to Beebe where there was more people in my grade then there was in my the whole school at McRae. Unlike Glass I barely changed anything about the way I acted, dressed, or the friends that I hung out with.
This book made me think about my own life in many different ways.
